Superb compassionate HARD working volunteers. Moved to rural NH from rural MI 2yrs ago.I had FUNDED 20yrs my nonprofit ANIMAL rescue BC no pound or anywhere 4animals2go within 100miles.Im disabled and was overwhelmed financially and emotionally of what running a shelter does.I rely on others for all manual work. I brought dozen of most ABUSED unadoptable with me.Cats started being dumped at my home.Only Riverside rescue agreed 2help.i donated all I could from our rescue.Our last puppy mill DOG euthanized recently. WHEN I can we have hired help&plan on helping older dogs that need a home(one at time)but must get along with senior cats.Thank Riverside rescue and ADOPTING is only way-donot buy PETS. Donate your time or whatever you can.Its very expensive-trust me it can bankrupt you paying for homeless-abused-abandoned ANIMALS that need us.
I have adopted Owen from Riverside Rescue as a puppy at 17 weeks.
I have also boarded my dogs there in a family emergency. It is loving and clean

We had to bring an ill friends dog to find a new home. Darla was abused at some point and we were devastated to find that we were unable to handle her. These people at Riverside were so kind and calm... they were as good for us as I believe they will be for Darla. It meant a lot to us that there was such a place, and when I realized they were all volunteers... I will be making a contribution. Great place clean, toys everywhere, good feeling.
